STEPHANIE JOHNSON

 PRESIDENT
Stephanie is from Belle Fourche, South Dakota and she has been a member of SDQHYA since she was three years old. She currently attends Belle Fourche High School as a Junior where she enjoys art club, competitive dance, piano and is on the track team where her favorite event is pole vaulting. She was the 2010 SDQHYA All-Around Youth and High Point Senior Girl. Stephanie and her horse Assets To Burn recently completed their AQHA Youth Championship and their favorite event is Western Riding .She also competes in 4-H Hippology and Quiz bowl where she has been a state high individual.She recently compted at the 2011 AQHYA World Show on the quiz bowl team and recived Third High Team.

         MEAGAN HARDEE

Meagan is from Watertown. She graduated from High School this year and is enjoying her last year as a youth. Meagan and her mare were last year's Reserve Novice Youth. Meagan loves to ride English and has a been a member of the SDQHYA for three years.
SENTEL JOHNSON  

 

 SECRETARY
Sentel is a 9th grader at Belle Fourche High School  and lives in Belle Fourche. Sentel enjoys gymnastics and Volley Ball. She was the 2010 High Point Girl and High Point 13 & Under , 2008 SDQHYA All-Around Youth, South Dakota AQHA Rookie of the Year and in 2009 was the SDQHYA Reserve All-Around Novice Youth. Her and Willy (Zips Sudden Mr) have completed their AQHA Youth Halter and Performance ROMs and AQHA Youth Championship. Sentel especially enjoys showmanship and English Equitation. She enjoys being on the 4-H quiz bowl and hippology teams. She is riding a new horse in 2011 called Leaguers Lopin Delux. She also competed at the 2011 AQHYA World Show and was on the third place Quiz Bowl Team.
   

KATE MCCOY

 TREASURER
Kate McCoy is from Sioux Falls. This is her third year showing as a SDQHYA member. She competes in English events, horsemanship, western pleasure, trail, showmanship and halter. Call For The Hot One, Aka. Hottie, is her sorrel gelding that she loves to show.  In 2010, Kate was the All-Around Novice Youth. This year she is showing a new horse in the Youth Classes. She won three buckles in recent State 4-H Show with her new horse. Along with her horse showing she is a very talented singer.
   

JAMIE MUNDWILER

 REPORTER
Jamie Mundwiler is from Milbank and has been showing for many years. Both of her sisters are past SDQHYA Alumni. Jamie has won many titles in the Palomino World Shows. In 2010 Jamie was the SDQHYA Rookie Youth and the South Dakota AQHA Rookie of the Year along with finishing a strong second in the nation in her age division. She especially enjoys Hunter Under Saddle classes with her Palomino.
JOELLEN GONSOIR FACEBOOK MANAGER
Joellen Gonsoir is from Groton where she is a Sophmore. Joellen competes in the novice division and this year has a new horse and is enjoying the reining. She recently was named the winner of the youth division special prizes for reining at the SDQHA Brookings Shows. She recently competed in the AQHA Youth World Show where she was 4th in the speech division and was part of the 5th place Quiz Bowl Team. Joellen is a talented dancer who enjoys ballet especially.
