SPECIAL MEETING OF SDQHYA VERY IMPORTANT If you have not met your requirements for awards for SDQHYA this year this will be the last meeting available to get those meeting attendance qualifications. You and your parent/ guardian must be present at this meeting if you have not made your two meetings for 2008. The meeting is scheduled for the Regional Event at the Bray Arena stands at 7 p.m. on Thursday September 25th. This is will be the last meeting no exceptions. This meeting will be used to decide on Special Awards to be given to friends of the SDQHYA at the annual banquet. Discussion about awards will take place. This will not be a check in and check out meeting. The drawing will be held for the SCOOTER as well at this time. SCOOTER

We hope you find your visit both informative and fun! You will find all the forms needed to join the SDQHYA along with all the rules and regulations of our Association. Feel free to contact our Advisors or Officers for information and guidance. You can get to know our executive committee up close and personal by reading their biographies on the officers pages. Watch for more pages being added to this site in the future. The SDQHYA is a group of young Quarter Horse enthusiasts with ages of youth through and including 18 years. It has established it own organization and is run by officers and directors elected within the SDQHYA membership with advisement from the SDQHA Board of Directors and an appointed youth advisor. Be sure to refer to the Forms pages to get information on joining and rules. We are looking forward to a fun year in 2008 and watch this page for important news and guidelines in the future. Thank you to Double Star Computers of Belle Fourche for helping to sponsor our pages on the web. 1.A meeting will be held at Central States Fair on Friday night after the youth reining and all youth will meet at the stands in front of the Bray Arena. Please bring your items for the Suncatchers gift. Please turn in your scooter raffle tickets at this time. If you or your parents have not been to two meetings it is mandatory that you attend this meeting in order to get your year end awards. Be sure to be there. There will be important information discussed at this time. BE THERE!!!!! 2. During the Black Hills Summer Circuit Meeting it was decided that each youth will bring an item to put in a gift box for Suncatchers to give to them at the Central States Fair Show along with our cash donation. Please bring tack or horse related items to Tiffany at the Sioux Empire Show or to CSF the first day. Each member is asked to bring one item. 3. The scooter tickets will not be in until the Central States Fair. If you can sell more of these tickets please contact sheepdog@dishmail so Stephanie can send you some or get more at the meeting in Rapid City. 4.
